Gopher Women’s Hockey Branding 2014-15

Lead creative design for the Gopher Women’s Hockey team. The program is one of the most successful teams on the Minnesota campus, boasting a record 62 game winning streak and national championships in 3 out of the last 4 seasons.”All In” was the motto used by the team in 2014-15. I used grungy, hand-lettering to try to bring some edge to the design, to reflect how dominant the team is. I used both markers and paint to create realistic splatter textures to be used with the team collateral for the year.

For each program, the featured player would give a quote about playing hockey for Minnesota which would then be hand-lettered in the same style as the cover using a brush or a marker.
